Diamond cup wheels with segmented bands are used primarily on straight-line bevelling machines where higher stock removal on the bevel angle by the first wheel is required. Calibration of the angle and finish by subsequent wheels. Grit selection is generally between 80-140(D181 to D126 FEPA Norm) for the first wheel, then as fine as 325 (D54 FEPA Norm) depending on the number of spindles. Bevel width is a function of the linear speed of the glass. Leaves a frosted surface finish for buffing with resin diamonds. Available for use on a wide range of glass processing machinery (please see table of manufacturers above).
